THE GREAT MÁLAGA PATH, STAGE 32

Graan Senda de Málaga

The Gran Senda de Málaga (GR-249) is a pioneering route in Andalusia that covers the entire province. Its complete route is 942 kms long and is divided into 35 stages that stop in a total of 54 urban centres of municipalities.

Stage 32 starts in the municipality of Ojén and ends in Mijas, passing through the municipal district and the town of Coín itself. This stage has a total length of 50.4 km.

The arrival point in Coín is the Plaza Alameda, where the Tourist Office is located.

To start the stage from Coín we leave the Plaza Alameda towards Calle Canónigo Ordóñez, turn left into Calle Caños and leave the old town by going up the Cuesta de la Reina, at the end of Calle Toledillo. The stage continues towards El Nacimiento.

Arrival point in Coín: Access by the Marbella A-355A highway, until we find the Torre de los Trinitarios on our right and a few meters further on, Plaza Alameda and the Town Hall.

Starting point from Coin: From Plaza Alameda we will go up Canónigo Ordoñez street to our right and then turn left on Caños street to leave the old town going up Cuesta de la Reina, at the end of Toledillo street. We will continue towards Los Llanos and Nacimiento.
