Coín has an extensive monumental heritage, a legacy of the different towns that occupied the city throughout its history. Many of the monuments found in the center have been declared an Asset of Cultural Interest by the Junta de Andalucía (Former Convent of Santa María de la Encarnación in 2008, Church of San Juan Bautista in 2010) in addition to the hermitage of Ntra Mrs. de la Fuensanta in Río Pereila, declared BIC in 2012.
The municipal tourist office is currently located in the historic building of the old town hall. This building was from 1863 to February 2005 the headquarters of the town hall.
The hermitage is open to the public every year from May 1 until the celebration of the pilgrimage in honor of the Patron Saint of Coín, on the first weekend of June. (In 2025 the Romería will be held on 7 and 8 June)
