DÍA DE LA CRUZ

The town dresses up to celebrate the "Day of the cross", where the flower turned into passion is the protagonist in one of the most important holidays in the town.

The activities begin first thing in the morning with a flowered target. After a Eucharist in the church of San Juan, the tour of the Santo Cristo del Perdón and the Vera Cruz takes place through the streets and squares of Coín. This route is different every year, and the neighbors of the streets through which it passes decorate them and install flower crosses.

At night the Solemn Triumphal procession of the Santísimo Cristo del Perdón is celebrated and

de la Vera Cruz, leaving from the Casa Hermandad located on La Cruz street, and ending at the Church of San Sebastián.
