The harvesting of the orange harvest begins in October and ends in May, which is why this date coincides with the Orange Festival, whose celebration commemorates the completion of harvesting in the field.

With the celebration of this festival, declared a Festival of Provincial Tourist Singularity and which has been held for 25 years, the typical products of the agri-food sector and the crafts of Coín are promoted. Neighbors and visitors can taste for free during the day the cod salad with oranges and a large boiled soup, typical dishes of the town. In addition, a dessert preparation and presentation contest is held, where orange is the main ingredient.
