GREEN CYCLE CORRIDOR
Tipo de recorrido: Lineal
Difficulty: Moderate
Distance: 12,73 kms
Time: 50 minutes
This cycling route coincides with the PR-A 496 footpath.
To guarantee the full coexistence of cyclists and walkers, we ask you to access it responsibly and safely. This is a fluvial route that runs along the banks of the rivers Bajo, Pereilas and Grande, until it reaches the Guadalhorce river.
Along the route you can enjoy the river vegetation typical of the area (white poplars, poplars, tamarisk, rushes ...) as well as eucalyptus groves, and the citrus groves characteristic of the Guadalhorce Valley.
It is an area frequented by a multitude of species of fauna. Among the birds, the black and white stork, the great cormorant, the great egret, the little egret and the purple heron stand out among others. But we can also find freshwater turtles, amphibians and fish such as the Guadiana bogue and the common stork.
